A rare few Anarchs have remained independent since the 2016 Battle of Mid-City, siding with neither the Mamanems nor the Firebrands. They’re a dying breed, but some are still hanging around.

An environmental studies professor originally from Baton Rouge, Dr. Petrwoski came to New Orleans after the 2010 Gulf Oil spill to assist in the cleanup and activist (as well as ecotage) efforts against Endron and Malveaux Oil. He fell in with the Anarchs by dint of them being the only covenant to care about his cause. Though he spends long stretches of time in the wilds, he remains an academic at heart and teaches classes (evening ones only) at Tulane University and ceaselessly exhorts his students towards greater environmental activism. Some of the Anarchs deride him for being cozy with Donovan, whose territory includes Tulane, but the professor likes to retort that his “first allegiances lie with the planet that sustains us all.” He appears close to the Caitiff Laura Ravenwood, who came to New Orleans at the same time as him and whose character he vouched for.
