Caitiff Genealogy
The notion of Caitiff genealogy is a joke, in New Orleans as it is everywhere. The clanless don’t know their sires. If they did, they wouldn’t be clanless.
Despite this aphorism, a few Caitiff actually do know their sires, but it’s exceedingly rare for the chain to go back much further. At some point down the line, the connection between childe and sire was too weak for clan traits to pass on.
