Bio:

History

Sangria Myst (likely not her real name) is the proprietor of Wycked Wishes, an occult bookshop in the French Quarter. She’s notable for her take-no-shit attitude and the open contempt she displays towards anyone (tourist or native) who tries her patience. It’s hurt her business, as has her penchant for drinking and smoking weed on the job, but the clients who stick around tend to be her type of people. She makes up for some of the lost revenue by selling weed those more “tolerant” clients.

When not running her store, Sangria enjoys the Quarter’s industrial- and goth-themed dance clubs, as well as participating in the local BDSM scene. She sometimes moonlights as a dominatrix to bring in extra cash when business at the bookstore is slow. She has an extensive collection of bondage gear and stores the “overflow” in Wycked Wishes whenever her apartment runs low on space. More than one customer has found a stray dildo or ballgag while perusing the books.

Story Three

Sangria recently caught up within the all-night society’s intrigues when she obtained an occult tome desired by Clan Tremere and Baron Cimitiere. Sangria originally intended to sell it for her own profit, but her intentions were foiled when Julien Derneville stole the tome out from under her nose, then used an obvious discipline in front of her when caught in the act by Clea Bonney.

Antoine Savoy soon learned of the Masquerade breach and dispatched agents to deal with the situation, bringing Julien and Sangria back to his headquarters in the Evergreen Plantation. Julien was given a sip of the Toreador’s vitae, while Sangria was carried off by Savoy’s followers to a fate unknown. A subsequent divination performed by Julien revealed that she was still alive but in great pain. Unfortunately for Sangria, the atonement-minded Tremere met final death at the hands of Lidia Kendall before he could make amends for the harm he inadvertently brought upon her.

Sangria did not stay missing, however, and reappeared in the company of Wayne Thompson. She was hired by the comparatively straitlaced hotelier to give him lessons in occult lore, an activity she likely would have previously found detestable, but was willing to do for the money. She suffered from shakes and had taken to heavy smoking and drinking.
